I have felt so inspired by Rachel Zoe's style and her thigh high boots lately that I wanted to recreate the look. I am obsessed with her show The Rachel Zoe Project and my boyfriend will tell you I can watch the seasons over and over and over again skipping to the parts that I like. I love the idea of wearing a fitted leather jacket, statement necklace, thigh high boots, a simple white t-shirt and jeggings together. I would wear this look on a date night with my boyfriend but most likely not to class... as much as I would like too! I love the idea of using items in my closet that I already own like jeggings, thigh high boots and a vintage statement necklace. Fashion doesn't need to be expensive it just needs to be accessible. For Easter this weekend my Grandma loved my flat Bruno Frisoni thigh highs that are tan which is most similar to the look. I would wear my black boots if I wanted them to appear more like leggings. Trends are constantly coming back and Sammy from Sammy Davis Vintage told me that thigh high boots are very 90s. I usually do not wear anything 80s but the other vintage trends I love-- even if I was born in 90. Style inspiration to me is not copying it is more of a flair to my current style. I never buy anything brand new and most of the pieces in my closet are investment pieces that I can wear for years to come! This look to me is another version of Parisian chic because thigh high boots first came back on the runways in Paris! In order to make this look sophisticated it is better that the thigh high boots are suede and not leather! That is very important!
